MIMIC Simulator 14.00 introduces Web Simulation along with breakthrough in scalability

New release extends powerful simulation capability to 100,000 devices for large scale testing

Nashua, NH - April 23, 2014 -- Gambit Communications, a leading provider of powerful and affordable network and SNMP simulation tools to more than 1,000 customers worldwide, today announced the availability of the latest version of its network simulation product, MIMIC Simulator Suite 14.00. The updated MIMIC adds Web Simulator, a new solution for complete evaluation and troubleshooting of Web applications that configure and manage services.

MIMIC Simulator Suite also provides significant functionality and usability enhancements that bolster scalability to 100,000 devices.

"We have been using MIMIC SNMP and Web Simulator in our Solution Testing for Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) for more than a year," said Michael Lammon, Software Engineer, HCBU System Test Team Lead at Cisco. "MIMIC made a complex task of testing many applications related to this solution, in variety of scenarios much easier. Without MIMIC it would have been very hard for us to execute our scale testing for HCS Customer On-Boarding. I specifically liked Gambit's excellent support. Working with our new HCS solution we have been counting on Gambit to deliver us a simulated solution and Gambit continues to provide that."

"With proliferation of unified communication and virtualization equipment within network infrastructure, organizations are struggling with the cost and inefficiency of managing datacenters. Gambit provides the premier solution that delivers all the benefits of converged infrastructure simulation, such as manageability, performance, scalability and better disaster planning," said Uwe Zimmermann, President of Gambit Communications. "The new addition of Web Simulator to MIMIC Simulator Suite has simplified testing the quality of network and web applications."
